Data Center Project Manager – Construction & Fit‑out (M&E)

About the role

The Data Center Project Manager will partner closely with our data‑center client to define scope, design solutions and oversee the seamless execution of data‑hall fit‑outs and new‑build projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets and stakeholder relationships while ensuring high‑quality, resilient infrastructure delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customer and contractor access, working with operations teams to maintain safe facility conditions.
• Develop and implement method‑of‑procedure documents for works within operational data‑center environments.
• Provide construction management for initiatives that enhance data‑center resiliency.
• Review constructability of mechanical and electrical system designs for new builds or optimisation projects.
• Create project scopes, equipment requirements, RFPs and capital request documentation.
• Lead internal and external teams, managing project cost, contracts and tender packages.
• Maintain project cost data, budgeting, cash‑flow forecasts and cost‑to‑complete reports.
• Chair project meetings, record minutes, monitor safety, quality and schedule performance, and prepare hand‑over documentation for operations.
• Support installed facilities through procedural reviews, best‑practice recommendations and vendor claim assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑7+ years of construction industry experience, preferably within the data‑center sector.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong capability to read and interpret construction drawings across all disciplines.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and leadership skills with minimal supervision.
