Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our fast‑growing team. You will work on big‑data pipelines, backend services and distributed systems that power our privacy‑safe audience‑targeting platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and big‑data processing workflows.
• Develop backend services for both AlikeAudience‑controlled and customer environments.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Review existing code, improve performance and ensure resilience against service disruptions.
• Write automated tests and manage deployments for backend (and occasional frontend) components.

Required profile

• Eager to learn new technologies and comfortable working in an unfamiliar environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, able to convey ideas clearly.
• Team‑player mindset, collaborative and self‑motivated.
• Open to taking meaningful responsibilities early in your career; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• PySpark (preferred).
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with big‑data pipeline architecture.
• Knowledge of distributed systems concepts.
• Backend development, testing and CI/CD practices.
