DevOps Engineer – FX & Fixed Income Systems

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our FX and Fixed Income electronic market‑making and order‑management platforms. You will work closely with traders, quants and external clients to ensure reliable, low‑latency operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate day‑to‑day FX and FI trading systems and manage market‑venue and client onboarding.
• Develop Python tools for quantitative analysis and automation of daily tasks.
• Provide front‑line 24/5.5 production support, incident resolution, and application deployment.
• Generate and run SQL/KDB queries for ad‑hoc reporting and problem solving.
• Participate in shift rotations, including weekend, evening and holiday coverage, and perform application upgrades and patching.
• Communicate status updates to clients, document activities, and coordinate with third‑party vendors.
• Monitor alerts, conduct Sunday health checks for the Asian FX market, and create operational tools.

Required profile

• Experience with low‑latency FX or Fixed Income trading systems.
• Background in support or development for a trading desk, preferably at a tier‑1 investment bank or hedge fund.
• Strong understanding of system engineering, UNIX/Linux, networking, and ITIL production management concepts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Finance).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
