DevOps Engineer – Servers & Virtual Machines

About the role

You will join the System Team and System Development Team to design, automate and operate the platform that supports critical enterprise applications across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and automate virtual machine, OS and patch management tasks.
• Design, implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or Rundeck.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Architect, deploy and manage scalable solutions on Azure and Alicloud.
• Drive automation for deployment, configuration and system operations.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) to scale applications.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop backup and disaster‑recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate on platform engineering to create reusable, developer‑friendly infrastructure.
• Explore AI‑based enhancements for anomaly detection, predictive scaling or automated troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Rundeck).
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Experience managing VMs and cloud platforms such as Azure and Alicloud.
• Solid programming or scripting skills (Python, Bash, Groovy).
