Digital Experience Specialist

About the role

The Office of Information Technology at Hong Kong Baptist University is seeking a Digital Experience Specialist to support its digital transformation. The role focuses on developing and managing web experiences using Adobe Experience Manager and related Adobe Experience Cloud tools.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in website development projects from ideation to rollout following the Digital Experience Services Team process.
• Gather user requirements and provide empathetic solutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop website components and templates using Adobe Experience Manager.
• Leverage Adobe Experience Cloud for content management, digital asset management, campaign management and analytics‑driven insights.
• Monitor project progress, report issues and risks, and forecast platform capacity.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks and assignments as requested by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Creative Media, Marketing, Communications, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in UX/UI, informational and e‑commerce website development.
• Working knowledge of a content management system (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) is desirable.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
• Self‑starter able to work under pressure.
