Director, Debt Capital Markets

About the role

As a Director in Debt Capital Markets at ANZ, you will originate and execute bond and debt transactions for corporate and institutional clients across Greater China, providing timely market advice and overseeing junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure and execute bond and debt capital market transactions.
• Manage client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Prepare transaction materials, presentations and term sheets.
• Coordinate due‑diligence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support execution ensuring timelines, quality standards and client expectations are met.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and product partners to identify opportunities.
• Work with DCM Desk colleagues on pipeline management and market execution.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Prior experience in financial markets, preferably in debt capital markets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese, with strong English communication.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
