Director, Distribution Transformation

About the role

The Director, Distribution Transformation will join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution team to shape and execute the overall distribution strategy across the region. Reporting to the Asia Chief Distribution Officer and working closely with the Head of Asia Distribution Strategy, this role drives both short‑term value capture and long‑term competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll‑out strategic initiatives across markets, including current‑state analysis, problem solving, solution planning, execution orchestration and change management.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive initiatives and realize measurable impact.
• Continuously identify and address opportunities to develop the business across core strategic themes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective end‑to‑end delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience conceiving and executing end‑to‑end transformation programmes that deliver tangible value.
• Familiarity with agile organisational models.
• Background in life‑insurance distribution and financial services, covering customer acquisition, management and distribution transformation.
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal senior‑leadership guidance.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, strategic agility and results orientation.
• Demonstrated expertise in process management, planning, problem solving and risk management.
• Excellent influencing, negotiation and organisational savvy, with top‑down communication skills.
