Director, Global Material Management

About the role

Vantiva is seeking a Director of Global Material Management to lead material planning and inventory management across its worldwide operations. The role ensures material availability, drives supply continuity, and supports strategic customer programs in a complex electronics manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global material planning strategies aligned with demand and production requirements.
• Lead MRP processes, governance, and proactive shortage identification and resolution.
• Define inventory strategies that balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency, and monitor excess, obsolete stock and inventory turns.
• Partner with procurement, suppliers, manufacturing, engineering and logistics to align supply commitments and communicate risks.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, KPI management and process standardisation using ERP and planning systems.
• Lead, develop and mentor a global team, building capability in forecasting, inventory optimisation and supply‑risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive supply‑chain experience, including leadership of global teams in complex manufacturing or electronics environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control.
• Proficiency with ERP and advanced planning systems.
• Data‑analytics expertise for forecasting and KPI management.
