Director of Amazon Operations

About the role

The Director of Amazon Operations will build and scale an Amazon business from the ground up, shaping platform strategy, market positioning, and operational models to achieve sustainable growth. This senior role is accountable for overall store performance, financial results, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive brand influence in overseas markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own annual, quarterly and monthly targets for GMV, profitability and market share, and translate company‑level goals into team KPIs.
• Lead, recruit and scale the operations team, aligning manpower planning with product strategy and establishing training systems.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and brand teams to devise data‑driven promotion strategies, optimise ROI and improve product ranking.
• Oversee daily Amazon account maintenance, ensure compliance, monitor sales trends, inventory levels and implement risk‑control measures.
• Plan new product launches, incubate blockbuster items and use multi‑channel tactics to boost traffic, conversion and lifecycle management.
• Track industry trends and competitor dynamics, providing market insights for product iteration and strategic adjustments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with solid English reading and writing skills (CET‑4 or above).
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on Amazon operations experience, including at least 3 years in senior management (Operation Manager / Director).
• Proven track record leading teams of 10+ members and delivering annual sales exceeding 300 M RMB.
• Deep understanding of Amazon platform rules, traffic algorithms, advertising logic and white‑hat operation strategies.
• Strong business acumen, financial awareness and risk‑control capability.
