Director of Business Development (Digital)

About the role

The Director of Business Development (Digital) will lead the acquisition of new clients and accounts for TransPerfect's Digital services. This senior position oversees the full sales cycle, from prospecting to post‑sale support, with a focus on generating revenue and expanding market presence in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across digital marketing, SEO, website globalization and related services.
• Develop and execute prospecting strategies using cold calling, internet research, networking events, trade shows and direct marketing.
• Present TransPerfect solutions through one‑on‑one, group, online and in‑person meetings.
• Manage pricing, contractual negotiations and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Quote, coordinate and bill projects daily, collaborating with clients and production teams to maintain profitability.
• Provide ongoing customer support and manage client expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of strategic business development experience, preferably within marketing or media industries.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing complex B2B deals.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
