About the role

The Educational Counselor provides personalized college and boarding‑school admission guidance to students and their families. Working closely with the Head of Education Consulting, the role blends one‑on‑one counseling, group seminars, and curriculum development to help candidates navigate the US admissions landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct admission consultation sessions for students and parents, covering both colleges and boarding schools.
• Deliver tailored teaching sessions that match each student’s academic needs and abilities.
• Assist the Head of Education Consulting in seminars, private consultations, Q&A sessions, and the creation of customized university‑application plans.
• Research admission requirements, application procedures, curriculum updates, and standardized‑test changes for US institutions.
• Recruit new students, manage parent relationships, and gather feedback for service improvement.
• Support the preparation of yearly departmental development plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university.
• Strong knowledge of international admission requirements and processes.
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle seasonal academic cycles.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
