Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will support the efficient operation of Nina Hotel Kowloon East, overseeing all building equipment, maintenance, and repair services. The role ensures guest safety and comfort while contributing to the hotel's profitability through effective environmental and energy management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing hotel property operations, equipment maintenance, and repair services.
• Help manage the engineering department by setting maintenance budgets, capital works programs, and engineering plans.
• Monitor and review performance regularly to ensure standards are met.
• Manage building environmental controls and energy‑conservation systems to support profitability.
• Address guest technical service requests promptly and anticipate needs where possible.
• Ensure safety and comfort of guests, handling service requests courteously and efficiently.
• Undertake any additional projects or duties assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in luxury hotel operations or similar building service systems.
• Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate.
• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade B or above).
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent written English and Chinese.
