Engineering Risk Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Consulting team in Hong Kong. The role involves conducting risk evaluation surveys, performing regular site inspections, and delivering recommendations to ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards such as NFPA.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk evaluation surveys of clients’ assets to identify and assess facility risk exposures.
• Perform regular site risk inspections and safety audits to evaluate risk‑related conditions.
• Carry out risk identification and gap analyses against Hong Kong regulations and international codes.
• Measure environmental data such as ventilation rates, illuminance, and floor conditions.
• Prepare detailed reports summarising findings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Property Management, Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering, property, safety or facility management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Knowledge of building services systems.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems and NFPA standards.
• Experience conducting risk evaluation surveys and site risk inspections.
• Ability to measure environmental parameters such as ventilation rates and illuminance.
