English Second Language (ESL) Teacher

About the role

Wall Street English is looking for an enthusiastic English Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join its Hong Kong centre. You will be part of a Service Team that delivers a premium learning experience and guides students through their English language journey.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Wall Street English methodology consistently in all teaching activities.
• Develop and prepare lesson plans, delivering engaging, interactive classes for up to four students.
• Teach core "Encounters" classes and complementary sessions to reinforce newly learned skills.
• Provide feedback and motivation at the end of each class, following the centre’s methodology.
• Design and lead Social Clubs/English Corners based on student interests.
• Record and track student results in the Learner Management System.
• Optionally teach corporate clients on-site.
• Inspire, motivate, and support students to practice outside class and engage with the global community.
• Participate in ongoing product training, seminars, and staff meetings.
• Act as a mentor for new teachers and promote Wall Street English as a premium language provider.

Required profile

• Recognized 120‑hour in‑house TEFL qualification (including CELTA).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Passion for developing learners’ confidence and skills.
• Desire to work in a diverse, collaborative team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Enthusiasm for a supportive, learner‑focused environment.
• Previous English teaching experience is a plus.
