Facility Project Specialist (2-year contract)

About the role

The Facility Project Specialist will oversee the procurement and construction phases of large‑scale commercial, retail and hotel projects. Reporting to senior management, the specialist will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, contractors, internal departments and end‑users throughout procurement and construction.
• Control, manage, supervise and administer contractors and suppliers to meet contract specifications.
• Develop and review construction strategies, phasing, logistics, safety plans and quality‑control measures.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyor, Project Controller and Architect/Designer to create and monitor cost plans.
• Prepare and update construction schedules aligned with master plans.
• Formulate project management and strategic plans to achieve objectives within budget and timeline.
• Define procurement strategies considering time, cost, design, quality standards and local requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in building studies, building surveying, construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience on large‑scale commercial/retail/hotel projects.
• Proven leadership and strong interpersonal skills across all organisational levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Ability to make independent decisions and familiarity with local statutory requirements, building codes and submission procedures.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
