Finance Director – Treasury & Accounting Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead treasury, accounting and financial reporting for a well‑established SME operating across multiple regions. The role reports to senior leadership and partners closely with business units to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, financing arrangements and cash‑management activities.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow and treasury functions to support growth.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, statutory reporting and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure robust internal controls, financial governance and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support audits and coordinate with external advisors, auditors, banks and regulators.
• Drive financial systems improvements, data accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Prepare management reports, board presentations and financial analyses for executive decision‑making.
• Collaborate with business leaders to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with CPA, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent qualification.
• 15‑20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury, banking, tax and financial controls.
• Experience in regional or multinational environments preferred.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
