Financial Controller

About the role

Milton, a leading materials solutions platform operating across China and ASEAN, is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen and scale its financial foundation. Based in Hong Kong, you will work at the intersection of finance, operations, and systems, partnering with finance teams and business leaders to deliver accurate, reliable, and actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly close for Hong Kong, China, and ASEAN entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Maintain and evolve accounting standards (IFRS/HKFRS) and establish a unified view of regional performance.
• Improve data flow across ERP, reporting, and internal tools to reduce manual effort.
• Translate financial data into clear insights for pricing, margins, and cost structures.
• Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis across regions.
• Monitor working capital, including AR, AP, inventory, and cash flow, and support treasury and banking needs.
• Collaborate with the finance team and business leads to build a disciplined, enabling finance function.

Required profile

• 8‑15+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial control.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or operational businesses.
• Experience with multi‑entity, cross‑border environments (HK/China/ASEAN).
