FP&A Analyst

About the role

The Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will support month‑end closing, business monitoring and financial planning for a multinational consumer goods group. You will partner with stakeholders across finance, marketing and operations to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely month‑end financial close and analyse P&L movements.
• Present insights and recommendations on advertising, promotion and CAPEX spend.
• Collaborate with the Shared Service Center and regional partners to deliver financial information.
• Support finance and business planning cycles from demand review to forecast.
• Assist in landing preparation and monitor forecast variances.
• Participate in finance transformation projects and process‑efficiency initiatives.
• Help implement and review procedures to ensure compliance with internal control principles.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis, presentations and project support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of FP&A experience in a multinational FMCG or travel‑retail environment.
• Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA or CIMA is a plus.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• ERP systems: SAP, Anaplan, Tagetik.
• Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel functions: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP.
