Freelance Fashion & Graphic Designer (Project-Based)

About the role

Clot Co. Ltd is seeking a highly creative freelance Fashion and Graphic Designer to lead the development of seasonal and capsule collections. This project‑based position requires independent work, strong visual storytelling, and the ability to translate brand concepts into production‑ready designs.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design capsule collections, following brief instructions and turning inspiration into final concepts.
• Manage timelines for monthly and seasonal in‑house and collaboration collections, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines.
• Research and track graphic trends, advanced printing techniques, and present line sheets and theme boards.
• Source fabrics, conduct mill visits, and perform material research in China and Hong Kong.
• Update apparel graphics, custom hardware trims, and specialized packaging.
• Create detailed tech packs and production‑ready files for sampling and bulk production.
• Review printing strike‑offs, fabric washes, and prototype samples, providing feedback to ensure accuracy.
• Provide ad‑hoc design support as required by the creative timeline.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion retail or streetwear.
• Deep expertise in fashion graphics, advanced printing processes, complex embroideries, and heavy garment construction, especially men’s streetwear.
• Strong commercial sense of youth culture and global streetwear trends.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and able to work independently under tight milestones.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin for communication with local teams and vendors.
