Freelance Real Estate & Relocation Consultant – Hong Kong

About the role

We are seeking experienced freelance consultants to support corporate clients, expatriates and families relocating to Hong Kong. The role combines residential leasing expertise with destination‑settling services, offering a commission‑only, flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Source and present suitable residential properties, luxury apartments and serviced residences.
• Conduct neighbourhood orientation tours covering schools, transport, healthcare, amenities and community resources.
• Arrange and accompany clients on property viewings, both in‑person and virtual.
• Negotiate lease terms, including rental rates and diplomatic clauses, and manage the leasing process to signed tenancy agreements.
• Assist clients with stamp duty, deposits, rent payments, utility setup and post‑move‑in support.
• Provide practical guidance on daily life, cost of living, HKID registration, bank account opening, driving licence conversion, Octopus and SIM cards.
• Coordinate with real estate agents and support property search activities.
• Deliver empathetic, proactive customer service throughout the relocation journey.

Required profile

• Valid Hong Kong EAA Estate Agent’s License (EAL) or Salesperson’s License (SPL).
• Minimum 5 years residential leasing experience (or 3 years in hospitality/tourism/relocation for field duties).
• Proven track record supporting expatriate relocations.
• Fluent English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
