Full Stack Developer – AI Startup

About the role

Our client, a well‑funded AI start‑up, is expanding its product portfolio and is looking for a Full Stack Developer to design, build and maintain web applications that support both customer‑facing AI products and internal business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain new features for web applications powering the company’s AI platforms.
• Collaborate with the Data Team and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and new functionalities.
• Integrate applications with AI models, data platforms and third‑party services.
• Optimize performance, scalability, security and reliability of the solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical design activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while supporting continuous product improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Next.js or Vue.js.
• Hands‑on backend experience using Node.js or Python.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (advantageous).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced start‑up team.
• Fluent in both Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English, and legally authorised to work in Hong Kong.
