Graduate Engineer

About the role

Jacobs is looking for a Graduate Engineer to join its civil, structural, geotechnical and mechanical teams in Hong Kong. You will work on the initial planning and design phases of projects, supporting construction supervision for both government and private contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project specifications and define sub‑contracts and requisitions.
• Support the civil/structural/geotechnical team in supervising construction works.
• Perform basic engineering tasks under supervision, applying fundamental engineering principles.
• Use prescribed methods and tools to complete specific engineering assignments.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical or Building Services engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Team player with a hard‑working attitude.
• Eligibility to work in Hong Kong and willingness to apply directly without agency representation.
• Scheme A training will be provided.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, principles and theories.
• Ability to prepare specifications and support construction supervision.
• Familiarity with standard engineering methods and documentation.
