Head of Construction – Large-Scale Development Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Construction with a proven track record in full‑spectrum construction management to join the project team. In this role you will oversee the construction of a large‑scale composite development in Hong Kong, ensuring the highest standards of quality, on‑time delivery and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the construction process from initial planning through to completion, ensuring seamless execution.
• Oversee and coordinate external consultants, contractors and stakeholders to keep the project aligned.
• Ensure compliance with building ordinances, regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and mentor on‑site teams to guarantee efficient and safe project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Building Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 20 years of construction management experience, preferably with reputable property developers or main contractors in Hong Kong.
• In‑depth knowledge of building ordinances and full‑spectrum project delivery.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, main contractors and government officials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
