About the role

Lead the Commercial Property Lines strategy for AIG in Hong Kong, driving long‑term profitable growth and market leadership while ensuring rigorous governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Commercial Property vision, value proposition and product roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Own technical and governance aspects of the Business Package for the region, including first‑party line oversight.
• Allocate resources for the underwriting function and align underwriting staff with distribution, claims, actuarial, finance and other teams.
• Partner with actuarial to maintain pricing tools and techniques, and with claims to uphold a reputation for claims excellence.

Required profile

• Significant insurance leadership experience with P&L responsibility across multiple products and geographies.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in a sizable general insurance line.
• Strong commercial thinking, strategic orientation and ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Commercial Property Insurance and technical underwriting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and process‑oriented skills.
