Housekeeping Coordinator – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator supports the housekeeping department of a premier waterfront hotel, ensuring smooth information flow, accurate room status reporting and high guest satisfaction. This position combines administrative duties with on‑site coordination to maintain standards across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, record and distribute reports and guest requests, ensuring accurate communication within the department.
• Enter daily room status into the system, investigate discrepancies and maintain up‑to‑date administrative data.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, assist with inventory control and keep work areas and equipment clean and in good repair.
• Report guest complaints promptly to the Executive Housekeeper or designated delegate.
• Maintain accurate records of lost and found items and ensure proper documentation and filing of all housekeeping records.
• Adhere to hotel health, safety, hygiene policies and personal grooming standards.
• Support other housekeeping areas as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management (preferred).
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of handling administrative tasks.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Hard‑working, willing to take responsibility and show initiative.
