HR Business Partner Manager – Business Facing Solutions

About the role

The HR Business Partner Manager will serve as the primary HR advisor for the People & Organisational Development Division, supporting business units in attracting, developing and retaining talent. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role combines strategic talent planning with day‑to‑day people management to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum HR consultancy covering performance management, promotions, transfers, rewards, employee communication and disciplinary matters.
• Lead talent review, profiling, gap analysis, development and succession planning for the assigned division.
• Implement HR initiatives in line with departmental KPIs and ensure compliance with the Employment Ordinance and other statutory requirements.
• Facilitate organisational change by gathering stakeholder feedback and communicating new HR programmes.
• Identify and mitigate HR‑related risks, escalating issues and recommending solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to become a preferred internal business partner.

Required profile

• University degree and at least 8 years of experience across the full HR lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience in talent management, succession planning and HR risk mitigation.
