HR Director – Fund Management Firm (1.5M+ Bonus)

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑performing fund management firm based in Hong Kong that is experiencing rapid growth. The HR Director will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping the people strategy, driving talent development, and ensuring the organisation remains an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance the HR function, establishing scalable processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with senior executives on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and overall people strategy.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, retention and leadership programmes to attract top‑tier professionals.
• Strengthen corporate culture and employee experience, supporting business transformation initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, compensation reviews, employee relations and HR policies to maintain a high‑performing workforce.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 15+ years of HR experience, including senior leadership or management responsibilities.
• Broad HR expertise covering talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience in financial services, professional services or fast‑paced corporate environments is advantageous.
• Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using HR‑related systems (HRIS, payroll platforms, etc.).
