About the role

The HR Manager acts as a strategic business partner to senior leadership across Hong Kong and Taiwan, aligning people initiatives with overall business goals. This role blends advisory responsibilities with hands‑on execution of day‑to‑day HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers in building high‑performing, inclusive teams and drive employee engagement.
• Advise on employee‑relations matters, organizational changes, and people‑related decisions.
• Translate business objectives into practical HR plans covering recruitment, performance management, succession, and leadership development.
• Oversee end‑to‑end talent acquisition, onboarding, off‑boarding, and employee data management.
• Collaborate with APAC Shared Service Centers to ensure smooth HR administration.
• Lead budgeting, headcount forecasting, and workforce‑planning activities.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics to support decision‑making.
• Provide guidance on local labor law compliance and HR policy implementation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager supporting senior leadership.
• Experience in retail, luxury, fashion, FMCG, cosmetics, or other multinational consumer‑facing industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
• Solid understanding of labor law and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Proven ability to work independently in a lean, agile environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
