Human Resources Manager – Hong Kong

About the role

The company is seeking a senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy and operations for its Hong Kong region. The role will translate the group’s globalisation plan into a local HR roadmap, supporting rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the group’s global strategy into a comprehensive HR plan for Hong Kong, aligning with business expansion.
• Lead talent acquisition, build a localized talent pipeline, and design high-potential identification, development and succession programs.
• Optimize organisational structure and job architecture, and design performance and incentive systems that balance group standards with local nuances.
• Develop and deliver capability programmes for managers and staff, fostering cross-cultural leadership and integrating group and local cultures.
• Ensure HR policies and processes comply with Hong Kong labour law, manage employment risk, and drive HR digitalisation to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8-10 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR leadership role covering Hong Kong.
• Background in technology, software or internet sectors is preferred; experience managing talent across sales, delivery and service functions is a plus.
• Proven expertise across all HR functions, especially recruitment, organisational change, and performance-incentive management.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong labour legislation and a solid track record in compliance and risk management.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese with excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
