Human Resources Officer / Assistant HR Officer

About the role

The Company is seeking a motivated Human Resources Officer or Assistant HR Officer to manage the full employee lifecycle and support compensation & benefits functions within a leading construction contractor in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee employee lifecycle activities, including MPF, insurance, taxation, final payment calculations and staff movement logistics.
• Prepare and process payroll, maintain payroll records and ensure high accuracy of employee data entry and updates.
• Keep employee records current in the HRIS and guarantee that personnel files are compliant and well‑organized.
• Respond to staff inquiries on HR policies, payroll, benefits and day‑to‑day procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant HR experience; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and payroll procedures.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Independent, self‑motivated and able to multitask under tight schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
