Hygiene & Sanitation Assistant

About the role

The Hygiene & Sanitation Assistant supports the hotel’s Food Safety Management System and ISO 22000 compliance, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation across all operations. You will work closely with the Hygiene Manager and other departments to maintain records, conduct inspections and assist with investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate Food Safety Management System and ISO 22000 documentation.
• Coordinate monthly food safety inspections, consolidate findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in food safety case investigations, arrange laboratory testing and prepare reports and statistics.
• Support logistics, documentation and minute‑taking for food safety meetings.
• Maintain hygiene records such as Daily Hygiene Checklists, Supplier Audit Reports and Internal Audit Reports.
• Coordinate shelf‑life studies, product testing, label creation and FEHD food labelling submissions.
• Conduct regular food safety and hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Organise Food Safety Training with HR, manage schedules and attendance records.
• Arrange laboratory testing, oversee sample collection and analyse results.
• Provide daily administrative support to the Hygiene Manager and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Food Hygiene & Safety or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in hotel or F&B food hygiene is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and ISO 22000.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
