Infrastructure Engineer – Hybrid Cloud & Networking

About the role

The role provides technical, operational and project support to DP World's regional IT Infrastructure team across Asia‑Pacific, primarily in Hong Kong and Korea. You will help deliver hybrid cloud and networking projects, ensure operational stability, and perform day‑to‑day infrastructure tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support infrastructure and networking projects across on‑premise sites in Hong Kong and Korea and on Microsoft Azure.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, storage, Active Directory, O365 and VMware environments on a daily basis.
• Manage network security hardware including Fortinet, Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls, switches and Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• Execute backup, disaster‑recovery procedures and keep hardware/software inventory up to date.
• Perform root‑cause troubleshooting for internal support cases and automate routine tasks using shell scripting, Azure CLI or PowerShell.
• Provide ad‑hoc 24×7 standby support and participate in rotational weekend datacenter maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in network support and hybrid cloud/on‑premise infrastructure administration.
• Professional networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows server administration.
• VMware ESXi, vCenter and vSphere.
• Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365.
• Microsoft Azure services (VM, subnets, virtual networks, NSGs).
• Fortinet, Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls, switches and Wi‑Fi.
• Shell scripting, Azure CLI and PowerShell.
• Container tools such as Docker or Podman.
