Insurance Litigation Lawyer – Associate (Hong Kong)

About the role

A career in our Insurance Litigation practice offers the chance to work on a wide spectrum of insurance disputes, representing leading international and domestic insurers in Hong Kong. You will join a team of highly professional and experienced litigation lawyers handling complex, high‑value claims.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, high‑quality work on insurance and reinsurance policy issues, professional negligence, medical negligence, personal injury and property damage claims.
• Work closely with international and domestic insurers, intermediaries and regulators, defending insurers and their insureds in large claims and advising on regulatory matters and policy documentation.
• Maintain positive client relationships and collaborate with partners leading the insurance litigation practice.

Required profile

• Hong Kong qualified solicitor with preferably 5 years post‑qualification experience in insurance litigation.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Motivated, proactive individual with strong commercial awareness and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
