Internal Audit Lead – Technology

About the role

Bitget is seeking a senior professional to lead its technology audit pillar. You will shape the audit strategy, oversee risk‑based planning, and ensure the security and resilience of the platform that serves over 125 million users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refresh the annual technology audit strategy and risk‑based plan.
• Lead, execute, and quality‑review end‑to‑end technology engagements in line with IIA standards.
• Assess IT general controls (access, change, SDLC, operations) and cybersecurity functions, including threat management, penetration testing, SOC monitoring and incident response.
• Evaluate cloud configurations, business continuity, disaster recovery, and custody/key‑management infrastructures.
• Present risk‑ranked findings and thematic insights to senior leadership and track remediation to closure.
• Coach, develop, and set technical standards for the IT audit team while maintaining independence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT audit, information security, or technology risk within a bank, financial institution, Big 4, or regulated technology business.
• Relevant certification such as CISA, CISSP, CIA or equivalent.
• Proven ability to challenge senior technology management and present to executives or audit committees.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT frameworks.
• Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and cybersecurity controls.
• Experience with blockchain, digital‑asset infrastructure, wallet/key‑management models and smart‑contract security.
• Scripting or data‑analytics ability (Python, SQL) and exposure to penetration testing.
