International Tax Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Tax Director to own the tax strategy, compliance and transfer pricing for our global group. This senior, high‑autonomy position will lead the in‑house tax function, act as a proactive business advisor and make final decisions on tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the group’s overall tax strategy and risk framework across multiple jurisdictions.
• Build and formalise the in‑house tax function, including processes, controls and future team structure.
• Own end‑to‑end tax compliance for corporate income tax, withholding tax, indirect tax and local filings.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure accurate tax provisioning and disclosures, working closely with accounting during audits and reporting cycles.
• Design, document and defend the group’s transfer pricing policy, master and local files, and intercompany agreements.
• Partner with product, corporate development, legal and finance teams to advise on tax implications of new initiatives, investments and M&A.
• Monitor global tax developments, including OECD BEPS, digital asset and crypto tax regulations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in international tax, transfer pricing and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and build an in‑house tax function.
• Strong decision‑making skills with independent judgment on complex tax matters.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex tax positions into clear guidance for non‑tax stakeholders.
