Investment Consultant – Private Banking (Product Specialist)

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Consultant to act as the product specialist for our Private Banking division. You will collaborate closely with relationship managers to drive the sale of investment solutions and deliver tailored portfolio ideas to high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, motivate and coordinate the sale of investment products across the Private Banking channel.
• Train relationship managers on product knowledge and monitor the implementation of investment ideas.
• Present investment concepts to clients via face‑to‑face meetings or conference calls.
• Build and review client portfolio proposals based on individual needs.
• Provide daily trade execution and administrative support.
• Support the product launch cycle from due‑diligence through post‑launch training and review.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory and internal standards.
• Continuously upgrade professional knowledge in investment products.

Required profile

• University degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of experience in banking, wealth management or related investment roles.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA, IIQA).
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CPWP are highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
