Investment Rotation Analyst Program (General Account Investments) 2027 Intake

About the role

Manulife's Asia General Account Investments team manages life insurance assets across asset classes, both directly and through outsourced desks. The Investment Rotation Analyst Program is a 24-month rotation for recent university graduates, with intensive on-the-job training and personal development. Team placements are set by business priorities and organizational needs, and participants can gain experience in Asia General Account in Hong Kong, with a possible short-term assignment to another overseas office.

Key responsibilities

• Complete four six-month rotations covering the investment function, including Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Investments Strategy and Asset Allocation, Credit Analysis and Origination, Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Alternative Assets Portfolio Management and Finance and Business Advisory.
• Work with Assignment Managers to build technical knowledge of asset origination and asset management in a large global financial services firm.
• Be mentored by a senior executive during the 24 months.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related subject.
• Fresh graduate or candidate with less than two years of work experience after graduation.
• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting, finance or investment, with strong analytical techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and solid computer experience in Office with a strong aptitude for learning new software.
