About the role
The IT Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist will plan, develop, configure, implement, administer and maintain the company’s endpoints, IT infrastructure and cloud workloads. Acting as a technology expert and vendor coordinator, the role supports both on‑premise and cloud environments across Microsoft, AliCloud and third‑party solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Coach junior team members on daily support and project rollout.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for escalated cases and coordinate with third‑party vendors.
- Collaborate with managed‑services vendors for vulnerability and patch management, monitoring and alerting.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes and documentation.
- Create metrics and reports for endpoint and infrastructure compliance and improvement.
- Conduct regular backup and restore drills.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for endpoint management (Intune, GPO, PowerShell), virtual machine management on Azure and AliCloud, and vulnerability/patch management using Intune and Qualys.
- Implement Single Sign‑On solutions with Microsoft Entra and third‑party SaaS, including conditional access policies.
- Utilize security and compliance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Defender for Endpoint, KQL, and Sentinel.
- Manage email filtering services (Barracuda, Microsoft Exchange) and the Microsoft 365 suite (Copilot, SharePoint, Teams).
- Support remote‑working solutions like Prisma Access and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Oversee print management (Papercut), voice and teleconferencing (MS Teams, Zoom), and data‑centre/hub room operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Microsoft Windows certification (MCSA or MCSE) preferred.
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft endpoint solutions (Intune, Group Policy, Registry, PowerShell).
- 5+ years experience managing Azure virtual machines.
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Entra SSO, Conditional Access and SaaS integration.
- 5+ years experience with remote‑working solutions (Prisma Access, Azure Virtual Desktop).
- 3+ years experience with security operations tools (Qualys, PAM, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint).
- General knowledge of network support (DHCP, DNS, Certificate Authority).
- Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
- Document management experience a plus.
