IT Infrastructure & Data Center Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced professional to take full operational ownership of multiple physical data‑center sites in Hong Kong for a leading global cloud provider. The role combines hands‑on facility management with strategic infrastructure planning, ensuring uninterrupted service for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily data‑center operations, enforcing safety, physical security and data‑protection standards.
• Lead, coach and evaluate a team of junior technicians, acting as the performance manager.
• Manage incident, problem and change management workflows across all sites.
• Monitor and maintain MEP systems (power, cooling) and coordinate server capacity planning.
• Own the financial planning for each site, controlling both CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of direct people‑management experience in a technical environment.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese, able to communicate with both technicians and senior leadership.
• Proven experience handling annual CAPEX/OPEX budgets for infrastructure assets.

Required skills

• IT infrastructure and data‑center operations expertise.
• MEP (power and cooling) knowledge.
• Server capacity planning.
• ITIL, PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
• Linux administration (RHCSA, LPIC) or equivalent.
