Japanese Speaking Customer Service Assistant

About the role

The position supports Yamato Logistics' e‑commerce and cold‑chain operations by providing bilingual customer service in Japanese, English and Chinese. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, complaints and shipment coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with clients, sales, operations and warehouse teams.
• Follow up shipments, prepare billing and monthly statements.
• Handle client inquiries and complaints via phone or email.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or higher education.
• At least 1 year of customer service or logistics operation experience, preferably with a logistics service provider (fresh graduates are also welcome).
• Mature, responsible, able to work under pressure, proactive and well‑organized.
• Excellent written and spoken English, Chinese and Japanese (JLPT N1).
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
