Lecturer I/II – AI & Digital Literacy

About the role

We are supporting a leading university in Hong Kong to recruit a Lecturer I/II to join its teaching and learning technology team. The role involves delivering AI literacy and digital literacy across diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and master programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver courses on AI literacy, digital literacy and digital competency.
• Teach students across diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Supervise student projects and provide academic guidance.
• Contribute to teaching, learning and technology‑related projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support programme and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or above in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology or a closely related discipline.
• For Lecturer I: minimum 4 years of post‑qualification teaching experience in tertiary education.
• Relevant teaching qualification such as PGDE, QTS or equivalent (preferred/required for Lecturer I).
• Strong knowledge or experience in AI, digital technology and/or digital education.
• Proficiency in both Cantonese and English.
• Experience in AI innovation, industry projects or professional experience in the commercial/public sector is an advantage.
• Candidates with less relevant teaching experience may be considered for Lecturer II.
