Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Flight Engineer) – A319

About the role

Jet Aviation is seeking a qualified Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to provide in‑flight technical support and line maintenance for A319 aircraft. The role blends cockpit assistance with hands‑on maintenance, ensuring safety, reliability and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to flight operations in line with company procedures and CAMO instructions.
• Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections and monitor aircraft technical status.
• Report defects, irregularities and maintenance needs to relevant teams.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance according to approved work orders.
• Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects within authorised scopes.
• Coordinate ground handling activities and aircraft servicing requirements.
• Act as a flight crew member when required by Flight Operations.
• Assist in sourcing and procuring parts for maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with OEMs and technical service representatives on technical issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work packages and documentation.
• Support calibration and serviceability of ground support equipment.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, manuals and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid licence as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Flight Engineer) with experience on A319 or similar aircraft.
• Familiarity with CAMO processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work both on‑site and remotely, collaborating with flight crews, maintenance teams and ground handlers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
