Logistics Manager – APAC (Hong Kong)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for the APAC region who will lead and optimise logistics operations across multiple markets while overseeing local logistics activities in Hong Kong. The role combines strategic oversight of global transportation networks with hands‑on management of regional 3PL relationships and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end logistics operations across APAC, driving cost efficiency, service excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Deploy BRITA’s global logistics strategies, standards, processes and best practices throughout the region.
• Manage international transportation networks (ocean, air, road, rail, parcel and multimodal freight).
• Lead carrier selection, freight procurement, contract negotiations and regional/global tender projects (RFI/RFP).
• Monitor logistics performance through KPIs, costs, service levels and transit times, identifying continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Drive implementation and enhancement of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) across APAC.
• Maintain strategic relationships with logistics service providers, carriers and 3PL partners.
• Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, trade regulations and dangerous‑goods standards.
• Analyse freight, warehousing and customs costs to optimise supply‑chain performance.
• Oversee Hong Kong warehouse operations, inventory management, packing standards and outbound fulfilment.
• Manage logistics budgets, 3PL tender processes and strategic provider relationships for the Hong Kong site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in global logistics.
• Fluent English; German and/or Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) a plus.
• Strong cross‑cultural business understanding, especially between Asian and European markets.
