Low Latency Market Data C++ Engineer

About the role

We’re working with multiple clients seeking a C++ Software Engineer to help build and evolve low‑latency market data architecture. You will be responsible for building a market‑data platform from the ground up, creating scalable, high‑performance data systems to support fast execution workflows. You’ll collaborate in a small, highly engaged team and contribute to the architecture and implementation of core components of the tick‑data stack, including integrating new exchange connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance a low‑latency platform from scratch (greenfield development).
• Write modern, high‑performance C++ code.
• Make architectural contributions to newly designed systems.
• Support adding and onboarding new exchanges to the platform.
• Take project ownership from planning through delivery.
• Collaborate closely with developers and researchers across low‑latency teams.
• Contribute to performance investigations and tuning for production‑grade latency and throughput.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience writing low‑latency/high‑performance modern C++.
• Experience with low‑latency systems is required.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with C++ optimization techniques.
• Experience with low‑level profiling and tuning to drive latency and performance improvements.
• Clear communication skills and a strong team orientation.
