Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Maintenance Technician responsible for responding to guest repair requests and ensuring the comfort and safety of hotel guests. You will perform a variety of minor plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and communicate status updates.
• Fix minor plumbing issues such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets.
• Perform basic electrical work, including changing light bulbs and tightening loose fixtures.
• Repair and maintain guestroom amenities, tighten loose toilet seats, and patch holes in walls.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections.
• Maintain daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related maintenance or facilities experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lb and work on ladders or stairs.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
