Manager, Agency Training and Development

About the role

Manulife is looking for a Manager, Agency Training and Development to design, deliver and evaluate training programs that support the growth of its agency force. The role will ensure high‑quality training delivery, monitor effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions in line with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and own the quality of training programs, including new‑agent need‑based selling concepts.
• Conduct training‑needs analysis for the agency force and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gathering feedback from managers and agents.
• Lead cross‑department projects and act as a communication bridge between training and management.
• Maintain and enhance the Learning Management System and related training resources.

Required profile

• Degree holder with 10‑15 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
• Professional qualification in financial planning (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken); Putonghua is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and customer‑care orientation.
• Independent, self‑driven and results‑focused.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems.
• Advanced use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Chinese word‑processing capabilities.
