Manager, Membership Services (1-year Contract)

About the role

The Manager, Membership Services will lead a team delivering world‑class experiences to club members and VIPs across race days, events and off‑site venues. This one‑year contract role focuses on member engagement, service quality and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise supervisors, officers and part‑time staff, manage rosters, coaching and ensure quality standards.
• Handle member inquiries, complaints and feedback promptly, providing accurate product and service guidance.
• Oversee on‑site support at the Voting Members' Box during race days and coordinate logistics for club events and VIP activities.
• Implement customer‑centric engagement programmes and campaigns to acquire, retain and enhance member loyalty.
• Prepare reports, verify information and analyse feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead smaller projects, support larger initiatives, and participate in user acceptance testing for new systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in membership services, events or customer engagement, with prior team‑lead experience.
• Experience in campaign implementation, customer feedback analysis and service improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of budgets and procurement processes.
