Manager, Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH) is expanding its global talent acquisition capabilities and seeks a proactive Manager, Talent Acquisition. You will lead end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse portfolio, partner with hiring managers and People & Culture teams, and ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects the HSH and The Peninsula brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycles: requisition handling, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management and ATS administration.
• Partner with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to define hiring needs, recommend search strategies and support recruitment decisions.
• Conduct talent market research, competitor analysis and talent mapping to build pipelines and identify market trends.
• Utilise LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, professional networks, referrals and search firms to source candidates.
• Leverage the Applicant Tracking System, Office 365, reporting tools and digital recruitment platforms to maintain accurate data and improve workflow visibility.
• Explore and implement AI‑enabled tools and automation to enhance sourcing, market research, reporting and candidate engagement.
• Prepare recruitment reports, dashboards and talent market insights for stakeholders.
• Coordinate offers, reference checks, background screening and pre‑boarding activities with confidentiality.
• Support employer branding, campus recruitment, career fairs and other talent attraction initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes, technology adoption and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment in a corporate or hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
