Manager, University Collaborations

About the role

The Manager, University Collaborations will support the team in delivering account management for InnoHK research centres and drive IP, venture building and deep‑tech incubation programmes. The role works closely with local and international university partners, research institutions and internal stakeholders to create value‑added services for startups.

Key responsibilities

• Provide account‑management support to multiple InnoHK research centres, facilitating industry engagement, talent development and research translation.
• Support IP and venture‑building programmes in collaboration with university partners and InnoHK centres.
• Partner with HKSTP Ideation and Incubation teams to design, plan and execute deep‑tech theme‑based ideation and incubation programmes.
• Maintain and expand relationships with local and overseas university partners.
• Organise events and activities that build startup pipelines, foster industry engagement and generate investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify programme enrichment opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in deep‑tech, research translation, startup or incubation programme management.
• Strong leadership and project‑management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and results‑driven.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
