Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop detailed designs for precision equipment modules and components. The role involves creating manufacturing documentation, performing structural analysis, and supporting prototype build and integration within cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical design of precision equipment modules and components.
• Prepare manufacturing, assembly, and testing documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials.
• Conduct structural analysis (FEA) to optimize stiffness, stability, and accuracy.
• Support prototype build, integration, and troubleshooting with cross‑functional teams.
• Assist in establishing design standards and implementing new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in precision equipment development, preferably in semiconductor or optics.
• Strong knowledge of material properties and precision manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.

Required skills

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• CAD software: SolidWorks, Inventor, NX.
• Finite Element Analysis tools: ANSYS, Abaqus.
• Understanding of material properties for precision applications.
• Experience with precision manufacturing processes.
